Steps in Grace Principle:
CONTINUUM
We recognized that recovery is a continuum of personal growth, so rather than resorting to escapism or quick fixes, began responding to distress with stabilizing hope, functional resilience, and purpose-filled renewal.
MINDFUL.
PROCESS.
PROGRESS.
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Philippians 2:13 - For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
Romans 12:1 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship.
Isaiah 40:31 - but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40; Psalm 23

-The Grace Alliance suggests getting comfortable and to do some deep breathing, possible read a Psalm (23) aloud and softly, and then to close with deep breathing.
-You may find the Christian Mindfulness “Abide” APP helpful.
Mindfully PRAYING
-READ IT: If the idea of "prayers" stresses or overwhelms you, you can use ready-made prayers such as Stormie Omartian’s prayer books.
-WRITE IT DOWN: or you can have a prayer wall, a sheet, a notebook, or just sticky notes in your Bible. Start and completion dates can be encouraging too.
-PACT PRAY: you can talk to God naturally as though He is a friend, because He is. If you want structure, it has been helpful to keep in mind the common PACT guidelines:
Praise and Adore God
Ask God to help others and yourself
Confess sins to God
Thank God
WORSHIPPING Mindfully
